Protect your product's design in Canada

An industrial design registration with CIPO protects the visual features — shape, configuration, pattern or ornament — of a finished product in Canada. As with a Canadian trade mark, an owner without a place of business in Canada files through a local agent, which we provide.

Fees and how we handle it

Agents prepare the representations and file the industrial design application with CIPO, with attorney oversight where needed. Official CIPO fees are paid to the office; our flat service fee is €199 net. Protection can be extended internationally via the Hague System.
