We take data protection seriously and process personal data only in line with the GDPR. This notice explains what we collect and why.

Contact and intake form

When you submit the trademark-search form or email us, we process the details you provide (such as your name, email address, company, the mark you want to protect, and your message) for the sole purpose of responding to your request and providing the service. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) and the steps taken at your request prior to a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Submissions are handled through our lead-management system (FunnelCraft) and stored on servers in the EU. We keep this data only as long as needed to handle your enquiry or as required by law.

Content delivery network (Cloudflare)

This site is delivered through the network of Cloudflare, Inc. (101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA), which caches it and protects it against attacks. In doing so Cloudflare processes your IP address and the technical data of each request. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in fast and secure delivery). Cloudflare is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (participant list of the U.S. Department of Commerce, checked 2026-09-10); the transfer to the United States rests on the European Commission's adequacy decision for that framework.

Audience measurement without cookies — always on

We measure the use of this site with Plausible Analytics, which we host ourselves on our own server in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. Plausible sets no cookies and assigns no persistent identifier; your IP address is not stored, but combined with a daily-changing random value into a hash that cannot be reversed and becomes meaningless after 24 hours. The data never leaves our server. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in understanding which pages are read); consent under § 25 TDDDG is not required because nothing is stored on or read from your device. You may object under Art. 21 GDPR.

Advertising measurement — only with your consent

We do not load any advertising scripts until you accept them in the consent banner. If you accept, we use:

• Google Ads (Google Ireland Ltd.) — to measure the effectiveness of our advertising.
• LinkedIn Insight Tag (LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company) — to measure ad performance and audiences.

These tools set cookies and transmit data, including transfers to the USA on the basis of the European Commission's adequacy decision on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 25(1) TDDDG). Your decision — accepted or declined — is stored in your browser's local storage under the key consent_v2 for 182 days; this is not a cookie and is never transmitted to us. You can withdraw your consent at any time with the button below. If you decline, none of these scripts run.

Change or withdraw consent

The button deletes your stored decision and reloads the page. You will then be asked again, and no advertising service loads until you make a new choice. Withdrawal takes effect for the future; the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand is unaffected. Cookies already set by Google and LinkedIn can additionally be removed in your browser settings.
